01 / SOIL & GROUNDWATER TESTING
A sampling plan with a purpose.
Testing may be needed around an existing tank, after removal, following excavation, or as part of a broader property investigation. We review the question being asked before selecting sampling locations and analyses.
Existing reports and sample maps are especially useful. A laboratory result is most meaningful when its location, depth, and relationship to the tank are understood.
02 / SOIL & GROUNDWATER TESTING
Soil investigations.
Services can include soil sample collection, field screening, boring oversight, delineation, and post-excavation confirmation sampling. Laboratory analyses are selected for the suspected product and project needs.
We coordinate field access and laboratory handling, document the sampling, and review the results in the context of the work performed.
03 / SOIL & GROUNDWATER TESTING
Groundwater investigations.
Where groundwater evaluation is appropriate, we coordinate drilling and well installation with qualified providers and perform sampling under the project scope. Temporary wells or monitoring wells may be used depending on the investigation.
The presence of water in an excavation does not by itself establish groundwater quality. Sampling and laboratory data help evaluate whether petroleum constituents are present.
04 / SOIL & GROUNDWATER TESTING
Reporting that explains the next step.
You receive a clear explanation of the findings and recommended next actions. Those may include additional delineation, remediation, or incorporation of the results into closure documentation.
Complete laboratory reports, field records, and sample locations support the project record and allow the work to be reviewed by the appropriate parties.
